Luke Massey
Luke Massey’s stills work has seen him placed in the prestigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year awards and European Wildlife Photographer of the Year, as well as winning the wildlife category of Travel Photographer of the Year and Young Environmental Photographer of the Year, he also works alongside Leica Optics as an ambassador. Luke has been widely published in magazines across the globe including BBC Wildlife and Geographical magazines. His film work has been featured on the BBC and Netflix, and his conservation films produced in Malta working alongside naturalist Chris Packham was awarded the Green Ribbon award for best environmental campaign by the media. He has also just finished work on a new BBC3 series, Undercover Tourist.

Luke will accompany the group throughout, offering expert advice on photography to ensure that guests not only expand their skills but return with an impressive portfolio of images that will be treasured for many years.  Participants will receive tutorial on understanding light, framing, what makes a good photograph and understanding a subject; all in a relaxed atmosphere. The course is open to everyone from novices that haven’t picked up a camera before to those looking to take their photography to the next level.

Nairobi

An international cosmopolitan city, Nairobi is a place of trendy cafés, leafy suburbs and glistening skyscrapers. It is also home to the only national park in the world that borders a city. An African metropolis abuzz with a rich cultural history, Nairobi is the East African hub for finance, technology and innovation.

Hemingways

Tucked away in the leafy suburb of Karen with views of the famed Ngong Hills, a stay at Hemingways is a grand and indulgent affair. Luxury suites with private terraces enjoy full butler-service, and a brasserie and restaurant serve up world-class cuisine. Hemingways is located conveniently close to the Giraffe Centre and Sheldrick’s Elephant Orphanage should a visit be possible during your stay.

Day 8 - Final Day in Nairobi

Enjoy a final morning in the Masai Mara on a game drive or relaxing in camp. After lunch your SkySafari plane will bring you back to Nairobi. That evening you’ll be treated to dinner at one of Nairobi’s most delectable restaurants, then chauffeured to the airport in good time for your international flight home.

Meru

A wilderness idyll of striking colours, Meru is a dramatic arid landscape sustained by 13 permanent and seasonal rivers. Doum palms and baobabs dot the rugged red-earthed environment, home to an abundance of game, including unique northern species like gerenuk, Beisa oryx and Somali ostrich. A 21,000 acre rhino sanctuary in the heart of the park provides a rare opportunity to take in the Big 5 in this wild, remote and beautiful area.

Elsa's Kopje Meru

Elsa’s Kopje blends African elegance and romance in the wild setting of Meru National Park. Named after Elsa the lioness made famous by Born Free, the autobiographical story and movie of George and Joy Adamson, the lodge is nestled into a rocky kopje. A refuge of luxury in a rugged environment, the charming cottage suites are built around the natural features of the kopje, each enjoying unique breath-taking views over the sweeping Meru plains. Loisaba

A conservancy of 56,000 acres in the heart Laikipia, Loisaba’s dramatically beautiful landscape is an important elephant migratory corridor, host to Africa’s extremely rare Wild Dog and rich in a plethora of game.
